To hear may seem like a simple thing, but it is the most important thing in a born-again believer's life. Paul wrote in Romans, "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Jesus said, "He that hath an ear let him hear, what the Spirit sayeth unto the Churches."

In order to be obedient, to be led, to be instructed, we must hear. If we are not hearing, then we must get closer to the source of the sound, which is GOD.

Next, after HEARING, is DOING. "Be not a forgetful hearer, but be a doer." "For we [born-again believers] walk by faith, not by sight."
